PIN Loading Instructions

(for First-Time "Talk n Text" Subscribers)

Notice:  First-time "Talk n Text" Subscribers must load their PIN online.  Please follow the directions found in the e-mail you receive with your PIN order.  Be sure to TURN your phone OFF when loading the PIN (Blackberry owners, take the battery out of your phone).

After you load your initial first-month Talk n Text PIN, you can continue to load your PIN's online, or follow the directions below:

1.  From your mobile phone, dial: #737 to Recharge. Or, dial 1-877-359-6695 from any landline or mobile phone.

2.  Press "1" for English, or "2" for Spanish.

3.  Enter the 10-digit wireless phone number you want to recharge.

4.  To add money using a PIN, press "1".

5.  Enter your PIN number, and wait for confirmation.


When you purchase your PIN from PagePlusDirect.com, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your PIN(s) and instructions on how to load your PIN(s).



After you log into your Page Plus Cellular Account (account login link will be in the e-mail you receive with your PIN order), you should see the following screen.  Before you can add minutes to your account, you will need to link your mobile number to your account.  Click on the link that says "Add a phone to your account" (circled in yellow below).

The next screen will prompt you for your Page Plus mobile phone number.  Enter your Page Plus mobile number, enter it a second time for confirmation, and type a "nickname" for your phone.  It can be something like "Mom's Cell," or anything that will make it easier for you to identify in a dropdown list.  The make and model of your phone is NOT required.  Enter the displayed "CAPTCHA" code, and then hit the "next" button.

A text message should be waiting on your mobile phone.  There are two codes in the message - be sure to scroll down and use the 2nd verification code (the 1st code is not really a "code," but some customers get confused and enter it by mistake - scroll down to the body of the text message to get the correct verification code).  Enter the verification code in the space provided (see below).  Enter it EXACTLY as it appears in the text message (the code is CASE sensitive).  Hit the "Finish" button, and you should receive a confirmation page indicating that your phone was added successfully.  If not, do the process over again.  Remember, you phone must be active to receive the text message!

Now you are ready to add minutes to your account.  Click on the link that says "Add minutes now" (circled in yellow below).



On the next screen, select the option that says "I've already purchased minutes and have a PIN."



On the final screen, enter your PIN number where indicated, select the phone you want to have credited, and enter the displayed CAPTCHA code in the box.  Select "Next," and you should receive a confirmation that the PIN was successfully applied to the selected phone.





Below are a couple of examples of what your account should look like after you load a Talk n Text PIN:

If you see two plans at the same time, this means that you switched subscription plans at some point.  When going from the Talk n Text Unlimited Plan to the Talk n Text 1200 Plan (or vice versa), you may need to call customer service and manually have them switch your plan.  Just loading a Talk n Text Unlimited Plan on top of a Text n Text 1200 Plan may or may not automatically switch you to the 1200 plan.  Always play it safe - call customer service first and make sure you are doing the right thing.
